A breath of life to help the community
In 1994, Mr. Janio Carlos de Freitas decided to make a difference in the lives of children in the Jardim América community in Rio de Janeiro by providing the tools, resources and support needed to train the future leaders of our community. Over the years, CEFAAN-RJ has become the largest youth organization in the region and offers the communitiess youth a chance to reach their full potential.
With the help of all our companions and friends, we started to bring love, health and dedication to those who need it most and we will take the same feeling, ideas and education to those who need in the future.

Guiding young people on the path to success
Founded in 2014 as an NGO, CEFAAN-RJ was established with the purpose of offering young people in Rio de Janeiro a healthy environment so that they could assume their identity and develop their potential to the fullest. As a leading youth organization, we are committed to empowering and supporting young people in our community through targeted programs and dedicated mentors.
We care about what we do and hope to create strong children, families and communities through academic preparation, character development and enriching activities.
